PechaKucha Night in Thessaloniki Vol. 5 happens tomorrow (March 27) at Bord de l'eau. We attached the info from the press release in this post, but you'll also find the list of presenters on the official event page.
It’s time for another Pecha Kucha Night in Thessaloniki! One of the most innovative and creative international events, hosted in over 500 cities around the world, will be held for the fifth time in the city of Thessaloniki, on Tuesday 27 March, at 21:00, at Bord de l’ eau (45 Egnatia str). 7 speakers, 20 images for each one, 20 seconds for every image, 6, 5 minutes for every presentation. This time, the subject is the Design! Design as a creative process, from inspiration to the result, in different sectors such as furniture, clothing, graphic design, print, jewelry. The construction and design imprinted from different angles and applied in different materials. Their common element is the love for this subject and the result of design, either reflected on paper, or manufactured, or presented on the web. As we mentioned in our look at PechaKucha Night in Thessaloniki Vol. 1, the city's Vol. 2 was held a couple of nights ago, and here's the poster that was used to promote the event -- here's also the list of presenters. Organizer Margarita Gerakaki promises to send in some photos from Vol. 2 soon, so expect those to pop up here within a week or so.
