Presentations In this presentation (from PKN Sydney Vol. 21) by Anna Lise de Lorenzo you'll find out all about &company, a project that gives emerging designers the opportunity to build their design experience within a creative community. They provide mentoring, facilitate production with local craftspeople and manufacturers, and take care of the marketing and distribution of the design. &company is on a mission to give designers a leg-up as they develop into capable and confident professionals. Not just for designers, the new Pop-Up premises in The Rocks invites anyone in to come and make something in the workshop, learn new skills in a class, or check out the work by their designers in the gallery and store. Poet and rapper Pablo Xavier suffers from schizophrenia, but he feels much better now. Through poetry and images, he explains how hard it has been. A very personal and touching presentation (in French, from PKN Lausanne Vol. 9). Posters We have two new posters on the Tumblr blog today, first for PKN London Vol. 7 (pictured above), and then for PKN Gainesville Vol. 4, which are happening on June 28 and 29 respectively. Photos We have one set of photos to share with you today, taken at last week's PKN Brighton Vol. 11 -- you're seeing one of those photos above. Of course, you can always find plenty of other event photos on our PechaKucha Night Flickr account. Calendar Back from the weekend, you can start your week with tonight's PKN Rotterdam Vol. 30. Tomorrow (June 26), you can look for the following two events: PKN Amersfoort Vol. 7 and PKN Buenos Aires Vol. 25.

Remo Camerota is all over PechaKucha these days. On top of appearing at the last two PechaKucha Nights in Tokyo -- with his own presentation on his new book Drainspotting at Vol. 73, and then popping on stage at last week's Vol. 74 during Vivienne U.H. Doan's "Beautified Taboo" presentation -- he should also be talking about his latest projects (of which he has tons) at an upcoming PKN in Sydney.
What you see pictured is an example of Remo's "Polaroid Project," in which he composes three-part polaroid portraits of people -- he's already had a show in New York, with famed photographer Nobuyoshi Araki as one of his subjects. Above, our dear PK co-founder Mark Dytham, keeping things covered.
Below, yours truly.

PechaKucha at 17th Sydney Biennale
Some great news coming out of Sydney today, with artistic director David Elliott unveiling some of the highlights from this year's Sydney Biennale (May 12 to August 1). Part of the reveal is that the event will be partnering up with PechaKucha for a series of nights, to be held at the SuperDeluxe@Artspace, a temporary venue that will act as an offshoot of Tokyo's very own SuperDeluxe, the birth place of PechaKucha.
