Looking Back

BY WALTER COKER
@ VOL 4 ON MAY 14, 2014

Walter Coker looks back over twenty years of photography and shares with us what it has taught him about compassion. The world can be a big and cruel of only the strong, smart, and rich survive. This is not all entirely true, and some get left behind, pushed aside, and even abused from the rest of the pack. Walter shares his photos and stories to remind us that we need to show more compassion everyday. Not only to each other, but with the nature that lives with us.

Headlight Dancing in the Serengeti

BY SHEILA VEATCH
@ VOL 5 ON OCT 28, 2014

Sheila Veatch takes us on a trip with her to the Serengeti and teaches us a bit about making assumptions. Living in a new land, new language, and new culture is a big step and the scariest adventure to many who think about it. That we are the  same, and misunderstanding is the common obstecial that people are faced with when living in a foreign country. Kenya is no exception to the rule.
