PechaKucha Night Singapore is an informal presentation where speakers share their ideas, passions and life experiences in the unique PechaKucha 20X20 format. Each presenter is only allotted 20 slides, each slide advanced automatically every 20 seconds.
The theme for the night is “Rojak.Digital”, evoking the mix of unlikely ingredients that come together to produce rich flavours in the local dish. This theme represents the creative mix of speakers –creators, thinkers and cultural curators – who help redefine what our realities will be in the near and distant future. They will come together to explore IoT as a trend that represents a world on the cusp of change, with implications for the way we work and for everything from daily life to society and culture. Through Rojak.Digital, attendees can hear stories from visionaries across the world and get hands-on experience in the daytime workshops.

About Pecha Kucha Night
PechaKucha Night is a platform for people to share ideas, passions and life experiences in the PechaKucha 20X20 format, where each presenter is only allotted 20 slides, with each slide advanced automatically every 20 seconds. Literally translated as “chit chat” or “blah blah” in Japanese, PechaKucha, was created by Klein Dytham architecture in Tokyo in 2003 as an opportunity for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It has since gone viral and turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in cities around the world. Presentations over the years at other PechaKucha Nights have included everything from design collaboratives, photography projects, family vacations, favourite foods, music, sports, and fashion.
