A Few Observations
Denis Francois Gravel was so impressed with what he saw when he attended PechaKucha Night in Quebec Vol. 2 earlier this month that it pushed him to post a few observations on the "speaking lessons" to learn from seeing a great PechaKucha presentation. We usually aren't so crazy about "guides" on how to give a PKN presentation -- for us, it's really all about being yourself -- but it's certainly hard not to agree with what Denis has to say. In short, be natural, be yourself, be enthousiastic, be proud, be solid, be smiling, and yes, be funny.

Last week we shared the video teaser that was put together by the team behind PechaKucha Night in Quebec City, and now we have a long post that goes in detail on how the designer, Marie-Pier Lemieux, came up with the ID. The post is in French, but there are enough visuals to give you an idea of how PKN Quebec's mascot owl was born.
