A hotel is not the destination of travel, but the starting point of cultural discovery. Mr. Lee renovated a 40-year-old hotel in Nan-Fang-Ao and renamed it 'The New Days'. He hopes that by creating comfortable spaces, he may prolong people's stay at the fishing village, helping them see beyond the fish market and seafood restaurants common to all fishing villages, discovering the deeply-rooted industry culture and the hardship of a fisherman's lifestyle.
