Welcome to our second PechaKucha Night of 2017 and our first themed evening: 'Journey'.

Join us on Thursday 22 June 2017 at Neo, Bruntwood's newest workspace, for another night of insight, inspiration and intrigue. Remember, each speaker only has 20 images, 20 seconds per image to speak, no stopping.

For this themed PechaKucha, we have a mix of great speakers including campaigners, travellers, designers and entrepreneurs.

PechaKucha Night Manchester was relaunched in June 2016 by a new team after an eighteen month hiatus.

This is our fourth PechaKucha following a string of successful events. We are indebted to the support of Manchester’s creative scene coming along as speakers and audience members as well as our previous hosts, SpacePortX, Ziferblat and The Wonder Inn. Most importantly, thank YOU for keeping us going!

PechaKuchas will continue take place every three months at venues across Manchester. Our mission is to feature a high calibre of creatives, designers, artists and community projects from the city and the North.

We're back for our first PechaKucha Night of 2017!

Join us on Thursday 30 March 2017 at The Wonder Inn for another night of insight, inspiration and intrigue. Remember, each speaker only has 20 images, 20 seconds per image to speak, no stopping.

As ever, we have an eclectic mix of speakers, featuring videographers, designers, illustrators and organisations promoting female positivity!

 So here’s the line-up:

  • Radim Malinic - Creative Director of Brand Nu and author of the ‘Book of Ideas’
  • Laura Boast - Founder and Creative Director at LJB Studio
  • Daniel Thompson - Graphic Designer at Holdens Agency (and resident PechaKucha Night Manchester artist!)
  • Graham Jones - Designer at Loose Collective and Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design at Manchester Metropolitan 
 
About The Wonder Inn

The Wonder Inn is a beautiful venue near Shudehill in Manchester. It offers a respite from the fast pace of the city, offering classes on yoga and meditation. We are really fortunate to have this space and encourage you to visit and support their mission.

10p from each ticket sold will be used by The Wonder Inn to plant a new tree. So feel good that you’re also helping the environment by coming along!

This time we're at Ziferblat on 24 November 2016.  

Tickets are £6 for early bird and £7 for standard (booking fee applies).  

It's bring-you-own-booze this time round.  If you don't bring anything you can still rely on the range of Ziferblat hospitality: cake and other snacks, hot and cold drinks: all covered in the tiket price!

PechaKucha Night Manchester is back for Vol. 14

Join us for an evening of fun, fast and inspiring talks from a host of Manchester's most vibrant creative minds, who will each be taking on the PechaKucha challenge: 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide, no stopping.

In one night, we will learn about the pioneering women of Manchester, hear about the latest theatre in Manchester and be intrigued by a new community pub. We'll also listen to the story of the photographer who takes pictures of musicians and wrestlers, and from the man who organises live painting battles between artists in unique venues across the city.

We'll be setting up for the evening at SpacePortX. A creative hub in central Manchester. Everything will kick off at 7pm with a 9:30pm finish.

Tickets are £6 for early bird and £7 standard.

We promise you will leave invigorated and hungry for more.
