Presentations By day, Monique Bouchard is a graphic designer and communications director who lives in Bangor's Old Town with her husband and son, but on weekends -- as she reveals in this presentation (from PKN Bangor, Maine Vol. 4) -- she travels back in time where she is... Aneleda Falconbridge, Bard of Kings. In Vladimir Geiko's presentation (in Ukrainian, from PKN Kyiv Vol. 7), he covers the injection of revolutionary ideas in the architectural appearance of Kyiv, and introduces us to the most advanced building technologies. Below, a look at the poster for the upcoming PKN Buenos Aires Vol. 25. The poster is designed by Bahraini designer Muna Yateem, who recently launched her brand HARAKA (a common word used by Bahrainis which means to wear or do something with swagger). The idea behind the poster is making fun of Bahrainis and their reaction when they hear and pronounce PechaKucha, some find it very difficult and its even funnier when elder people try to say PechaKucha. The great thing about this parody is the fact that PechaKucha has an audience from all age groups and the word itself makes it "special" in Bahrain. And although not a poster, here's a look at the new logo for PKN Seoul -- the series has been on hiatus for quite a few years now, but is about to relaunch this summer. Photos We've got another fresh batch of photo galleries from around the web, and if you missed the live streaming of the recent PKN Edmonton Vol. 13, you can still watch the video here, courtesy of the Edmonton Journal. Above, the scene at PKN Nara Vol. 2.

Katowice will take part in our Global Cities Week, with its PechaKucha Night Vol. 6 happening on February 23 at Kato Bar. You can check back later on the official event page to see the list of presenters as it gets finalized. As organizer Miroslaw Okonski tells us, the "space ship" pictured on the poster refers to one of the city's most well known buildings, the Spodek (and here it is on the city logo).
