I will present the story of Dragon, one of our HeroRAT, as we nickname them. The reasons why the rats are a cost-efficient, reliable and local detection technology; how we train them and the impact our innovation has on vulnerable populations.

In our foundation, we develop and research Detection Rat Technology for humanitarian purposes : We train giant african rats to safely detect both landmines and tuberculosis in South-East Asia and Africa, thanks to their amazing sense of smell.

Cultural and Social Sustainability

BY DAN STEIN
@ VOL 15 ON NOV 30, 2017

When we hear about sustainability, we often think of energy, waste, transport, themes focused on economy and environment, .
We are living in a world with more and more migration. A world becoming more interconnected and global. Does anyone really desire living in a place with walled off communities? We need to be paying more attention to creating communities that are culturally and socially sustainable. Can we make our diversity a community resource that builds strength and resilience, rather than fear?

En plus d’une forme de retour aux sources, des expériences atypiques et personnalisées autour du local et de l’interaction humaine permettent de présenter un visage peu connu mais moderne de notre belle région lémanique!
