Think no one can make you do anything?
Well, we bet we can make your mouth water! That's right, we're playing with your involuntary actions like Pavlov played with his pups (well, kind of).
Here are five meaty, food-related presentations ready for your consumption:
"From the Kitchen to the World" by Aram Reed
"Designing Cakes" by Mhairi Wild
"The Savory Month of Ramendan" by Jed Schmidt
"Molecular Gastronomy" by Nik Mavromatis
"8 Things Designers Can Learn from Baking Cakes" by James Stockdale

The Importance of Huts
Huts are no longer nostalgic relics of the past. Unless we're talking about Jabba the Hut -- he died a long time ago.
In today's Presentation of the Day, "The Importance of Huts" from PKN Dundee Vol. 2, Euan Gray shows us how huts are not only important as a shelter from the harshness of mother nature, but how they've become fully-functional modern miniature marvels of interior design and architecture.
SEPTEMBER 03, 2013
Danny has produced and exhibited his interactive creativity on numerous platforms, from PC to consoles and more recently on mobile devices.

Now an instructor at Cambridge University, Jonathan Baldwin talks about growing up in the 1970s, and the formative impact a certain Doctor had on his young life. In this edition of Presentation of the Day, (from PKN Dundee, Scotland Vol. 5) Jonathan relates to us some of the life lessons he learned while watching Doctor Who. One among these words of wisdom was the idea that one must nurture his/her imagination, ingenuity, and creativity -- it was this notion and many others that led him to become the man he is today.

Culinary artist, painter, crocheter, and all-around Renaissance woman Mhairi Wild speaks (at PKN Dundee, Scotland Vol. 5) about the process -- though perhaps more specifically -- the art of making cakes.
In this edition of Presentation of the Day, she goes into depth on some of her recipes and cake-constructing secrets: the importance of balance between flavors, the consistency of the cake and icing, and the design elements of the cake’s decoration. A delectable treat of a presentation indeed!

Grids and Circles in Our World, Student Life at a Technical University, and Photos from Samara and Toledo
Presentations Fran Ward sees grids and circles in the world around her. As she explains in her presentation (from PKN Williamsburg Vol. 2), she uses those references to make sense of that world and her place in it. In their shared presentation (in Czech, from PKN Usti nad Labem Vol. 2), Marek Hudáč and Matyáš Fialka talk about what it's like being a 1st grade architecture student at the Technical University of Liberec, and describe the atmosphere of the school's huge studio. Posters We really love all of the posters and flyers that Guatemala City has produced for tonight's Vol. 2, and pictured above we have yet another great promotional item to share. The rest of today's Tumblr blog additions include posters for PKN Dundee Vol. 4 (below), PKN Dunsborough Vol. 6, PKN Wellington Vol. 17, and PKN Waterville Vol. 9. Photos Samara has had a few events now, but here's a photo gallery [Flickr] that shows off that city's very first PKN -- pictured above, an attentive crowd, and one of that night's presenters. Below, a photo from the recent PKN Toledo Vol. 3, taken by Kathie VanNess. Calendar As we mentioned yesterday, the following five events are happening tonight (October 25), but we have one addition (PKN Lausanne Vol. 12): PKN Guatelmala City Vol. 2, PKN Lille Vol. 2, PKN Knoxville Vol. 5, PKN Chillicothe Vol. 1, and PKN Vladimir Vol. 9. Friday has the following seven events: PKN Orlando Vol. 7, PKN Bern Vol. 19, PKN Waterville Vol. 9, PKN Koszalin Vol. 10, PKN Wellington Vol. 17, PKN Cagliari Vol. 4, and PKN Castellon de la Plana Vol. 2.
