PKN Posters: Delhi Vol. 16

Delhi, India while be holding their Vol. 16 evening this Thursday, February 28. PKN Delhi has this to say about the upcoming event:

This PechaKucha Night hopes to initiate a conversation ... by bringing together a range of representatives from India’s entrepreneurial community. Speakers will include entrepreneurs who work in fields as wide ranging as music, organic farming, online retail, education apps, art and craft artifacts, restaurants, design and much more, as well as mentors, advisors and curators of India’s entrepreneurial culture.

    Dr. Aditya Dev Sood is Founder & Chairman of the Adianta School for Leadership and Innovation, which provides postgraduate training in innovation and leadership using a bold new curriculum and an interactive, hands-on, project-based pedagogy. The Adianta School curriculum integrates three distinct pillars of learning: Innovate, Build, Lead. It teaches processes of product development, entrepreneurship and organization building, and soft-skills of leadership. The Adianta School has partnerships with NESTA (UK), Social Innovation Exchange (Global) and also with groups within various universities including TUDelft (Holland), Aalto University (Finland) and Stanford University (USA.) Involved as advisors, mentors and faculty at the school is a pool of over 100 innovators, designers, academicians, entrepreneurs, and people from industry from all across the world. Aditya Dev Sood is an architect and a Fulbright scholar with two doctorates from the University of Chicago in Anthropology and Philology. He has a wide range of disciplinary competencies gained through his long and diverse education. Dr. Sood runs the Center for Knowledge Societies, an innovation consultancy based in New Delhi, India, which uses ethnography, design thinking and user experience modeling to make new things possible. He has recently led the establishment of the Bihar Innovation Lab, a public-private partnership funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that aims to improve government services in healthcare and other sectors using an innovation approach. Over the past two years he has also convened the Design Public Conclave, which brings together leaders from the public, social and private sectors to explore new topics and means for collaborative innovation. On weekends he can be found hiking with his wife and young son, or else brewing beer, building sculptures, and editing his book on India’s Innovation Path.
