Pecha Kucha Columbus will host its twelfth event on Thursday, February 11 at the OSU Urban Arts Space. The festivities will kick off at 7:00 p.m. with local musicians The Alwood Sisters and presentations will begin at 7:30. Each presenter will follow the international Pecha Kucha format of showing 20 images and speaking about each image for 20 seconds. Members from the OSU Department of Dance will perform during intermission. Music accompanying the event will be provided by Scott Vayo of BPM Productions. Local food vendors The Hills Market and Sassafras Bakery will sell refreshments during the event. There will be three visual art exhibitions on display: Transitions: The Dresden Project, Photographs by Fredrik Marsh; Art, Documentary, and Propaganda in Wartime China: The Photography of Sha Fei; and The American Weigh: Christopher Steele Collection. Parking is available at the City Center Parking Garages, Ohio Statehouse, Parking Garage, and Riffe Center Parking Garage. Limited metered street parking also is available.
