Another rip-roaring PechaKucha Night in Chicago with tasty libations and the provocations of a dozen or so creative, ingenious, clever Chicagoans. Some mayoral chat, maybe?
Chicago’s Volume 16 features 6 minutes and 40 seconds each of word jazz legend Ken Nordine, a series of activists and provocoteurs - Jacqueline Edelberg (author of “How to Walk to School”), Jack Benigno and Kevin Lynch (derailer of Chicago’s Olympic bid) - young architects Hana Ishkawa and Michael Jividen, Welsh renaissance man Jon Langford, modelmaker Hal Chaffee, actor John Wilson (of Collaboraction), the boss of the Illinois Science Council Monica Metzler, and(if we can swing it) a Mayoral candidate will also appear. The official poster of Volume 16 is designed by Aya Yamasaki.
Architect Peter Exley and artist/musician Jon Langford will emcee the evening.
