Our day of posters continues (see our previous posts on Coimbra and Breda) with this one for the upcoming PechaKucha Night in Cardiff Vol. 4, to be held March 14 at Chapter -- you'll find the full list of presenters with links on the official event page. The poster was created by Tamsyn Gill, a 3rd year graphic design student (UWIC), and here's more from organizer Lou Cameron on how the design came about:
For this event we had a competition with the graphic design students and Tamsyn's design was chosen. Her theme used the play on words for PechaKucha. Tamsyn thought the title sounded like Peaches and Cwtches. Cwtches meaning cuddle or a hug in Welsh. We also have an ECO theme running through the event, so it kind of fits with the person hugging the world.
