London 2050: is a greener, zero-carbon city possible? Powered by PechaKucha
The Mayor of London has set his ambitious to make the capital carbon neutral by 2050, with a commitment to extend London’s green cover to 50%. How can the built environment community respond to achieve these goals? What key challenges do we need to address first, and what solutions can we provide as an industry?
London is facing increasing environmental challenges, from pressure on resources and energy demands, to threats from climate change, to air pollution and loss of green spaces. In this evening of quick-fired presentations we will hear from leading industry experts about innovative ideas to achieve ambitious goals, supporting London in becoming a zero-carbon city while protecting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of Londoners.
