ArchiAid Channel

ArchiAid was formed soon after the devastating events of 3/11 in Japan. Many of Japan's leading architects joined forces with students of architecture to help design and rebuild some of the hardest hit coastal areas.

BitSummit Channel

BitSummit is a new conference in Western Japan for indie developers to showcase ideas and meet with publishers. For this year's BitSummit MMXIV (March 7-9) the festival has expanded in size, length, and quality, with three days worth of guest speakers and musical guests, combined together in an event unlike anything ever seen.

Exhibition "Design Ah!" Channel

PechaKucha teamed up with 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT as part of the "Design Ah!" exhibition to produce two special events on March 23rd. One for kids, where they made and presented their 20x20s in an open workshop. The other for 'grown-ups' was part of Roppongi Art Night, and featured an inspiring lineup of design talent.

Global Cities Week Channel

Our 2012 global event had the goal of celebrating every PechaKucha Night city, worldwide. It was a weeklong celebration (February 20-26) that brought all PechaKucha organizers, presenters, and attendees together, with a focus on highlighting all of the amazing cities that make up the global PechaKucha community.

Haiti Reconstruction Channel

117 PechaKucha Night cities came together to raise money for reconstruction in Haiti on the 20th of February, 2010, just 4 weeks after the earthquake. Raising $79,000 for Architecture for Humanity, the money has helped build a school, which opened in November of 2011.

Inspire Japan Channel

Just 4 weeks after the events of 3/11 in Japan, the worldwide PechaKucha community came together to "Inspire Japan." Over $85,000 was raised for Architecture for Humanity and ArchiAid during a non-stop 24-hour PechaKucha event that circled the globe.

New Cities Foundation: WhatWorks Channel

The New Cities Foundation's mission is to incubate, promote and scale urban innovations. WhatWorks is a speaker series curated by the Foundation aimed at finding the up-and-coming innovators working on solving the great urban challenges of our time, including energy, mobility, health, housing, and many more.

PechaKucha Global Night Channel

For one night on September 20, 2013, the global PechaKucha Night community came together to celebrate each city's "hidden heroes." The events were also connected online through the Global Hangout, a worldwide Google+ Hangouts chat that ran as a wave around the world for close to 20 hours.

Powered by PechaKucha Channel

"Powered by PechaKucha" events are one-off events that are separate from regular city-based PechaKucha Nights, and that are usually held as part of festivals and conferences, but can also act as standalone events. These events include presentations that use the PechaKucha 20 images x 20 seconds format.

SuperDeluxe Channel

SuperDeluxe the birth place of PechaKucha Night is: a place of experimentation, a noisy thing, an intimate ballroom with wholesome food, a network of all sorts, a place to enjoy, and a place to enjoy others.

Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) is a not-for-profit membership association mandated by the Swedish government to promote Swedish design at home and abroad.

Table XI Channel

Table XI is a custom software development firm based in Chicago, and is the web development team behind the newly launched pechakucha.org website. "Table Talks" is a recurring series of PechaKucha-style lightning talks held over lunch at our office. The event is designed to foster idea exchange, collaboration and learning, and features a lineup of top-notch entrepreneurs, technologists, designers and storytellers from Chicago and beyond.

Tokyo Designers Week Channel

PechaKucha Nights at Tokyo Designers Week are where audiences can catch presentations by some of the brightest and most interesting design talent in Japan (with a few welcomed guests from abroad). Each year's event fills up the TDW Dome venue where it is held.
